So I know I am a bit late (a few weeks, oops) on getting this up, however, better late than never!

I flew to Thessaloniki to go visit the new family and the new grandparents! Might I say it was an absolutely wonderful trip! Lots of walking, lots of fantastic foods, amazing history provided by some excellent tour guides (you guys should open your own Thessaloniki tour business along with your baby friendly tea shop).

These pictures are from a crypt under the Church of St. Dimitrios.

This the Roman Agora.

Just a cute little street!

One of the many things that I noticed around Thessaloniki was tagging, however, on occasion there will be amazing street art on sides of buildings such as this one.

This was the beginning of our walk along the palladia. It is right along the harbor and is lined by small parks and play areas. Some of the parks remain unfinished due to the poor economy but regardless still looked pretty cool.

Of all the ancient ruins and history we saw, by far I think the walk along the palladia was one of my top favorites. It was just a very pleasant and relaxing day for all of us. And most importantly on my end I think I may have replenished my lack of vitamin D.

Ian said the water was too gross to swim in this area...... and then there's these guys.

The amazing sunset as we enjoyed our lunch/dinner along the palladia.

Monument of Alexander the Great.

There used to be a wall the enclosed the city of Thessaloniki. The parts of the wall that are left are mostly from the Byzantine period. At the top of the city is the fortress. It was once used as a prison.

A view from the top.

Wish I could have been these guys.

Rotunda of Galerius

We stopped at a little coffee/tea shop that had these awesome Disney cakes in the window.

Well, I think that's about it. Greece was absolutely awesome! I'm so happy that I got the chance to go and visit with everyone. I'm hoping that we will have a chance to go again so Jayson can go out and visit sometime soon too.

So, everything else. I started class the day after I got back to England. This quarter hasn't been too bad. I'm taking a business and management class and a math class. Both are going very well. I am actually currently supposed to be working on a midterm but... I have until Sunday. Besides, my finest work comes when its down to the wire. Jayson has been busy at work and will hopefully be starting school in March! Plans coming up, I'm hoping to go down to London on the 15th and get in some real sight seeing for when everyone starts to come and visit. And that's really all. Maybe go see a cathedral here and there. A friend of mine just recently went to Warwick Castle, which has been on my list of things I want to do) and she highly recommended it. Well, I suppose I should start my midterm then. Good night....or well.... for everyone in the states happy Friday! And I will talk to you all soon!!

    1. Thank you! It was nice getting to talk to you guys also! He called me maybe 10 minutes after we had wrapped up talking and he was done. Yea.... the car. Its alright. With me not having to go to school in the middle of the day like before it isn't so bad. I'm shooting to get a similar schedule for next quarter so we can keep up with this routine, it seems to be working pretty well.
