Hi everyone! I promise, I didn't forget about this thing. It's been a crazy busy year between school, work, Jayson's several trips for work and more school and work. Most recently I have started my last class for my associates degree! I am more than excited to be done and get the extra time to travel and do the things we have been planning. I celebrated the big 2-4 a few weeks ago with some of the greatest friends I could ask for. With Jayson being gone it does get hard at times coming home to a quiet house or not having him available to talk to, but my friends have made this adventure easier and much more manageable. I went down to London to visit some of Cory's friends from college who were passing through on their Euro trip. It was great getting to see some fresh faces from back home. I also made a trip out to Cambridge to see the Greek Harrington clan, and ohhhhh my Artemis! How flipping adorable is she? I am planning a week long trip to Germany for Christmas. We will be staying near Garmisch outside of Munich. I am beyond excited to go to the Christmas markets. Jayson got to go last year and he said it was absolutely gorgeous. For the first time in three years I may get a white Christmas! We are also hoping to do a trip in the spring, I am thinking Spain? So any suggestions are more than welcome!
Just a quick update from Jayson: He is doing well. We talked Monday night and he said that things at work have been slow. He is working 12 hour days with Mondays off and a half day on Saturdays. So he is getting breaks here and there. With not having a whole lot to do there he has been going to the gym a lot more and has been swimming (yea, they have a pool..). But otherwise he is doing good and can't wait to be home :)
And what's a post without a few pictures?
Because my dog thinks she's a cat.
One of the few "nice" days that we have had.
We have a field across from our house which makes taking Raleigh out to run super easy!
And because I feel like you need to see another picture of my dog :)
xoxo Jill
